Hello dancers, and welcome back to Mini Movers Book Club Week 3! I hope everyone is staying nice and warm during this chilly winter season!
This week, we have a very special book picked out by our very own Mini Movers dancer, Kate Kim! The book this week is.... drum roll please....
Usborne Illustrated Ballet Stories, Retold by Susanna Davidson, Katie Daynes, Megan Cullis, and Sarah Courtauld, and illustrated by Yvonne Gilbert Nanos.
This dance book is a retelling of both classics (Cinderella, Swan Lake, and the Nut Cracker) and less common ballet stories (Don Quixote, The Firebird, and La Sylphide)! Each chapter shares a new ballet story, and allows dancers to learn about the tales that inspire dance performance!
This book will be at the front desk of Mini Movers Studio in Charlestown this week, and is available for dancers to read whenever they'd like! I will also include the link down below incase anyone wants to purchase their own copy!
