Hello dancers, and welcome back to a new month of reading with Mini Movers Book Club! We are welcoming spring in with a new book recommendation picked by our very own Mini Movers students!
This week, our book is Pete the Cat and the Cool Cat Boogie, by Kimberly and James Dean.
Pete the Cat and the Cool Cat Boogie is about Pete the Cat and his love for dance! Pete tries teaching his friends his dance, or learning how his friends dance, but everything seems to go wrong. Until he recieves advice from a wise owl that reassures him dancing is about having fun, expressing yourself, and feeling the music in your own individual way. The way one person dances doesn't have to be how the next person dances! As long as everyone is having fun and expressing themselves!
Pete the Cat and the Cool Cat Boogie will be at the front desk of Mini Movers Studio if any dancers want to read Pete's story and learn his boogie!

At Mini Movers Studio, the dancers were buzzing with excitement over this month’s Book Club pick—Pete the Cat and the Cool Cat Boogie!
